During my career – both as a litigator and in other roles – I have learned to appreciate businesses that add value for their customers and benefit the greater community. It is because of this appreciation that I am proud to be a part of a company like AFI and strongly believe in the company’s missions and goals.

As a long-time member of my community and a dedicated family man, I understand the effort and commitment it takes for organizations to serve and benefit their communities. Earning my Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School while working full time reinforced my appreciation of the commitment needed to work towards positive change and drive for success. Being a licensed California attorney has presented many different perspectives and a variety of diversified experiences. My legal responsibilities have included managing all aspects of litigation including working directly with clients, court appearances, all forms of discovery, mediations, arbitrations, trial preparation, and the culmination of full trials.

In my roll as legal counsel for software companies, I enjoy the opportunity to provide guidance and be involved in many aspects of company operations. Whether offering counsel regarding intellectual property rights, client relationships, mergers and acquisitions or licensing products, I have always enjoyed the opportunity to support companies as they grow and provide value to their clients. I look forward to helping AFI become a strong, innovative and successful partner for the grants community.
